A link to the digital journal, Themelios, is now available in the Electronic Resources column.
Themelios is an international evangelical theological journal that expounds and defends the historic Christian faith. Its primary audience is theological students and pastors, though scholars read it as well. It was formerly a print journal operated by RTSF/UCCF in the UK, and it became a digital journal operated by The Gospel Coalition in 2008.
Themelios is published three times a year exclusively online at www.theGospelCoalition.org. It is presented in three formats: iPaper (a Flash-based interface that allows flexible viewing without requiring you to download the document) PDF (for citing pagination) and HTML (for greater accessibility, usability, and infiltration in search engines). Themelios is copyrighted by The Gospel Coalition. Readers are free to use it and circulate it in digital form without further permission (any print use requires further written permission), but they must acknowledge the source and, of course, not change the content.
The editor is Donald A. Carson. Ron Callaway suggests that anyone who can’t remember Carson must be slipping in memory.

Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary
12/15/2009 — Lance WilliamsJust in time for the spring semester, the library has acquired the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary for the Old Testament. This resource will be a great asset to any student’s Old Testament paper (hint, hint).
The following video depicts a day in the life of the commentary’s general editor, John Walton. He takes his work very seriously.
